Fátima is a small farmer in Póvoa do Concelho, Trancoso, marked by a life of work on the land, outside and caring for her family. She supplements her income with day labour in agriculture and considers the unequal pay between men and women for equal work an injustice. She actively participates in the A Geradora Integral co-operative, which aims to support rural women and combat isolation in depopulated villages.
